BleLabLink Privacy Policy

This policy covers BleLabLink for iPhone, iPad and Android, published by Rintronic, with application identifier com.rintronic.blelablink.

Board communication and lab data

BleLabLink communicates with compatible development boards using Bluetooth Low Energy. Commands, sensor readings, device identifiers and communication logs are processed on your device. Rintronic does not operate a cloud service that receives these lab readings.

Bluetooth and location permissions

Bluetooth access is needed to discover and connect to a board. Where an operating system requires location permission for Bluetooth discovery, it is used for that function. GPS lab coordinates, speed and other positioning readings received from a connected GPS module can appear in the app and in exported lab records.

Saved records and sharing

Presets, lab settings, journey records and saved logs may remain on your device. You choose whether to export or share them. Exported files may include coordinates, timestamps and device identifiers. Files you share are handled by the service or recipient you select. Remove saved records or uninstall the app to remove its local data; separately delete files you previously exported.

Purchases

Optional module access is purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. These stores process payment information under their own privacy policies. BleLabLink uses purchase and entitlement information to unlock purchased features and restore access; Rintronic does not receive your payment card details.

Advertising and sale of data

Rintronic does not sell personal data or use lab readings for targeted advertising.

If you contact support, we receive the information you voluntarily include in your message. Avoid sending sensitive coordinates or logs unless needed for your support request. Contact information@rintronic.com for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us.
